We recenlty had the wonderful opportunity to chat with French singer Requin Chagrin in a video interview. The Parisian talked about her newest album, Bye Bye Baby, the dream-pop genre, and some of her musical influences.

When you listen to this album, you can’t help but feel nostalgia. Her lush vocals on top of the gentle strums of the guitar makes me feel like I’m on a cloud. In our interview, Requin revealed that she gets most of her inspiration from music and films from the 1960s and 1980s. There is no denying that her music reflects that. She also revealed that the creative process behind the album took approximately 6 months.
