DanDaDan Season 2 has hit the ground running at this Anime NYC 2025 as Momo, Jiji, and Okarun face off against the Evil Eye’s forces, perhaps once and for all. Today, a new teaser for the season recently dropped at the DanDaDan Season 2 panel, which revealed a fan-favorite character (and a beloved gentleman from the manga), Kinta Sakata.
Additionally, the English and Japanese dub castings for Kinta were also revealed. Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer star Bryce Papenbrook will be the English voice actor for the character while Daichi Fujiwara will be the original Japanese dub actor. Both English and Japanese teasers were also showcased at the panel for attendees.
For those unfamiliar with DanDaDan, Kinta Sakata is one of the main characters who hides his physical insecurities with overconfidence, craving recognition and attention from others. While he might have intimate problems with others, he proves himself to be a useful ally in helping protect the earth from extraterrestrial and supernatural threats with Ayase and Okarun. He also has shapeshifting powers by manipulating his nanobots.
Now that the series is moving into its second half, fans are looking forward to seeing Kinta embrace his powers in helping others as the Kaiju Arc continues in full swing. Although it’s still a few episodes out, the build-up to Season 2’s climax has proven itself to be wild.
The recent episode of DanDaDan Season 2, “You Can Do It, Okarun!”, was also released yesterday on streaming. This episode truly shook more insane ground with Okarun and Aira, presenting a crazy musical action sequence and much more. Details about the episode’s production were also shown to attendees through special visual art.
“As the season moves to its second half, fans can look forward to a buck-wild final few episodes,” the Season 2 Part 2 description reads. “It centers on the chaotic oncoming kaiju battle, as well as introductions to many colorful new additions, and subsequent romantic tensions, to Momo and Okarun’s circle.”

DanDaDan is a television adaptation of author Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga of the same name, which is currently serialized in the wildly popular “Shonen Jump Plus” by SHUEISHA. Animation is done by DEVILMAN crybaby and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off studio Science Saru.
DanDaDan Season 2 is currently streaming on ADN, Crunchyroll, Hulu, Muse, and Netflix.
