We were joined on the Popternative show by Violet McGraw to chat about her newest holiday film A Christmas Mystery which is now streaming on HBO Max. The movie also stars Santino Barnard, Lauren Lindsey Donzis, Leonardo Cecchi, Eddie Cibrian, Oscar Nuñez, Christoph Sanders, Drew Powell, and Beau Bridges. When her best friend’s dad is wrongly jailed for stealing the town’s prized jingle bells, a young amateur detective (McGraw) and her friends try to find the real thief before Christmas.
In our interview, Violet talks about how much fun it was filming A Christmas Mystery which was filmed in the town her mother grew up in. We also discuss her upcoming horror sci-fi film M3GAN which will be released in theaters on January 6th, 2023, as well as some acting advice she gets from her older sister Madeleine McGraw (The Black Phone), especially when it comes to horror projects.
