There is an assortment of films that center around individuals swapping bodies, faces or even talents. It usually happens through some sort of magical occurrence, but the new Netflix fantasy film Family Switch, streaming November 30, is taking the concept up another level.
Directed by McG (This Means War, The Babysitter: Killer Queen) with the screen story by Victoria Strouse (Finding Dory, Let It Snow) and screenplay by Strouse and Adam Sztykiel (Black Adam, Scoob!), Family Switch is based on the book “Bedtime for Mommy” by Amy Krouse Rosenthal.
In the film, Jess (Jennifer Garner) and Bill (Ed Helms) Walker are trying their best to keep their family connected as their children CC (Emma Myers) and Wyatt (Brady Noon) get older. A chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the Walkers to wake up to a full body switch. Even baby Miles (Lincoln Sykes and Theodore Sykes) gets swapped with the family’s pup. Will the Walkers be able to unite with each other with major life events on the line? Find out when you watch the film.
