
Focus Features today announced that Robert Eggers’ highly anticipated horror film Nosferatu will be released on December 25, 2024, making it a prime holiday season release.
With a screenplay and directed by Eggers, the film stars Bill Skarsgård (IT, Barbarian), Nicholas Hoult (The Menu, The Great), Lily-Rose Depp (The Idol, Voyagers), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Tenet, Nocturnal Animals), Emma Corrin (Lady Chatterley’s Lover, The Crown), Ralph Ineson (The Green Knight, The Witch), Simon McBurney (Carnival Row, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), and Willem Dafoe (Poor Things, The Lighthouse). The film is described as “is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.”

Eggers also serves as a producer alongside Chris Columbus (The Lighthouse, The Help), Eleanor Columbus (The Lighthouse, The Witch), Jeff Robinov (Air, Hypnotic), and John Graham (Air, Hypnotic). Nosferatu marks Focus Features’ ongoing collaboration with Eggers following the 2022 release of The Northman.
