The highly anticipated Addams Family spinoff series Wednesday finally premiered on Wednesday (great marketing!) November 23rd on Netflix. Directed and executive produced by Tim Burton, Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, Gwendoline Christie as Principal Larissa Weems, Percy Hynes White as Xavier Thorpe, Jamie McShane as Sheriff Galpin, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Naomi J Ogawa as Yoko Tanaka, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus, Riki Lindhome as Dr. Kinbott, with Christina Ricci as Marilyn Thornhill, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams.

The supernaturally infused mystery follows Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday attempts to master her psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

We were joined on the Popternative show by Emma Myers who plays Enid Sinclair, Wednesday’s roommate who is also a werewolf student at Nevermore Academy. Emma tells us about preparing to play Enid, her scenes with Jenna Ortega, and what it was like filming the series overall.
