Hulu yesterday revealed 6 first look photos from the upcoming series Under the Bridge premiering with 2 episodes on April 17th with new episodes launching weekly. The series will stream on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ in Canada.
The 8-episode true crime series stars Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Vritika Gupta (Cross Hollow), Chloe Guidry (The Last Tycoon), Javon “Wanna” Walton (Euphoria), Izzy G. (AJ and the Queen), Aiyana Goodfellow (The Outlaws), Ezra Faroque Khan (Without Sin), with Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), and Riley Keough (Daisy Jones & The Six).
Under the Bridge is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story of fourteen-year old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.
Based on the best-selling true-crime book Under the Bridge by the late Rebecca Godfrey, the series was adapted for screen by Quinn Shephard (Not Okay) and is executive produced by Samir Mehta (Tell Me Lies), Liz Tigelaar (Tiny Beautiful Things), and Stacey Silverman (Best Day Ever), Shephard, Geeta Patel (Dead to Me), who will also direct, Godfrey and Tara Duncan. Riley Keough will executive produce with Gina Gammell (Felix Culpa). The series is produced by ABC Signature.
