Wednesday is finally back as Season 2 is set to debut with Part 1 on August 6, and Part 2 on September 3 on Netflix. As Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) gets ready to return to Nevermore Academy, audiences will see familiar faces as well as some new ones.
“Wednesday Season 1 was a table setter, but there’s still so much of the world left to see. It’s been exciting to expand the scope and the vision of the show this season,” executive producer Alfred Gough told Tudum. Co-creator and co-showrunner Miles Millar added, “We have a broader canvas and more toys to play with. The world of Nevermore is much expanded — and we had a great time doing it.”
Check out the full breakdown of Wednesday Season 2 characters below.
Returning Cast
Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams: Ortega returns in the titular role as Wednesday goes back to Nevermore Academy for a new year.

Isaac Ordonez as Puglsey Addams: In Season 2, Pugsley joins his sister Wednesday at Nevermore Academy as a new student. He will also figure out that he has powers of his own.

Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams: The loving father and husband returns in Season 2 – though it’s not clear if he too will move to the Nevermore campus with Morticia (it’s hard to imagine he would not want to).

Victor Dorobantu as Thing: Thing will return as Weednesday’s handy sidekick. Played by magician Victor Dorobantu, Thing marks his first on screen role.

Joonas Suotamo as Lurch: The Addams family’s loyal driver will also return in Season 2.

Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester: Wednesday’s favorite uncle will make another appearance in Season 2, and according to Netflix, we will see more of him as compared to the first season.

Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair: Wednesday’s bubbly bestie and roomie will explore her newly found werewolf form in Season 2. Season 1 ended with Enid finally “wolfing” out and being able to transform into a werewolf.

Hunter Doohan as Tyler Gaplin: Tyler shocked audiences in season 1 when the seemingly “nice” guy turned out to be the Hyde who was killing many people at and around Nevermore. Per Netflix, “But, in Season 2, the entire town of Jericho knows Tyler is hyde-ing a dark and deadly truth. Following his Season 1 rampage, Tyler has been moved to Willow Hill Psychiatric Facility for care and monitoring. Unsurprisingly, Jericho’s most infamous serial killer isn’t a fan of life behind bars.”

Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay: Bianca was introduced in Season 1 and is a siren and didn’t start off as friendly towards Wednesday. But, “By Season 2, these two have found common ground and the makings of an alliance. Bianca will be navigating her own complex obstacles this season as she handles the awesome responsibilities that come with being a siren,” Netflix explains.

Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger: Eugene became friends with Wednesday in Season 1 and helped her solve the main mystery. In Season 2, Eugene will be assigned as Pugsley’s roommate.
Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus: Another student at Nevermore, Ajax is a gorgon; he can turn people into stones. In Season 1, Ajax became Enid’s boyfriend.
Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago: Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo will return in Season 2 as Santiago, but with a new position: the new Jericho town Sheriff, replacing Donovan Galpin (Jamie McShane). Netflix describes Santiago as “sharp, determined, and unafraid to enlist the help of Wednesday when the bodies begin to pile up.”
Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin: In Season 2, Donovan Galpin is fired from his job as Sheriff and will have to deal with the aftermath of his son Tyler’s imprisonment.
Season 2 New Cast Members
Steve Buscemi as Principal Dort: Season 2 introduces the new Principle of Nevermore – Barry Dort, played by Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire, Miracle Workers, Fargo). Principle Dort will follow in the footsteps of his predecessor, Larissa Weems (played by Gwendoline Christie in Season 1).

Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump: Season 2 will introduce audiences to Morticia’s mother, Grandma Hester Frump, played by Joanna Lumley (Amandaland, Fool Me Once, The Wolf of Wall Street). Netflix describes her as “the fabulously wealthy mogul behind Frump Mortuaries — one of the most successful outcast-owned businesses in the country. Immaculately coiffed, emotionally cold, and armed with a razor-sharp tongue, Hester is calculated in everything she does, from running her empire to managing her family’s legacy.”

Billie Piper as Isadora Capri: Another new staff at Nevermore, Billie Piper (Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Doctor Who, Penny Dreadful) will portray Nevermore’s new music teacher. She will also become a mentor to Enid as a fellow werewolf.
Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff: Christopher Lloyd (The Addams Family, Addams Family Values) returns to the Addams Family universe and will play Professor Orloff at Nevermore, described by Netflix as “A stern disciplinarian, Orloff prowls the school hallways, always on the lookout for troublemakers. It doesn’t take long for Pugsley Addams to end up on his radar.”
Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Rachael Fairburn: Tyler’s psychiatrist at Willow Hill Psychiatric Facility will be played by Thandiwe Newton (Westworld, Mission: Impossible 2, Crash).
Heather Matarazzo as Judi: Heather Matarazzo (Scream, The Princess Diaries, Hostel II) will play a “sycophantic executive assistant” at Willow Hill. Netflix adds, “Judi’s cheeriness quickly evaporates when she crosses paths with Wednesday, for whom she develops an instant dislike.”
Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood: In May, Netflix confirmed that Lady Gaga will join Season 2 in a guest star role, described as “a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.”
