Prime Video dropped a teaser trailer for the new action drama series, Hotel Costiera, the new original series starring Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy, The Cabin in the Woods) which will premiere with all six episodes on September 24.
Filmed in Italy, Hotel Costiera is directed by Adam Bernstein (Silo, Breaking Bad) and Giacomo Martelli (Blanca, DOC – Nelle tue mani), and is is based on an idea by Luca Bernabei (Medici, Don Matteo).
The ensemble cast also includes Maria Chiara Giannetta (Blanca, Don Matteo), Jordan Alexandra (The Winter King, Boiling Point), Antonio Gerardi (The Red Door, The Girl in the Fog), Sam Haygarth (Masters of the Air, Extraordinary), Tommaso Ragno (The Miracle, Nostalgia), Amanda Campana (Summertime, The Crypt Monster), Pierpaolo Spollon (DOC – Nelle tue mani, The Good Apprentice), Alejandra Onieva (High Seas, Las Pelotaris), and Jean-Hugues Anglade (The Deep Dark, Visions).
The synopsis reads, “With a gripping storyline, fast-paced action and comedy, Hotel Costiera follows Daniel De Luca (Jesse Williams), a half Italian former U.S. Marine. Daniel returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located on the spectacular coastline of Positano. In addition to dealing with the wealthy guests’ problems, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner’s daughters who disappeared a month earlier. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced. ”
