Take a deep breath because Netflix just dropped first look photos of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton from Bridgerton season 3 during today’s Tudum 2023 event. It’s been over a year since season 2 of the hit Netflix series premiered, and in May 2022, it was announced that season 3 “will spotlight Penelope and Colin.”
This was an unexpected but welcome surprise as Netflix described it as “a shakeup from Bridgerton’s inspiration, Julia Quinn’s books of the same name, Penelope and Colin’s love story is told in the fourth book, Romancing Mister Bridgerton, rather than the third.”
As part of Netflix’s annual global event, Tudum 2023 gave Bridgerton fans a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming season with Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton and Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington.
There is no word yet on an official date for season 3, but many remain hopeful for a late 2023 release.
