Yesterday, Netflix hosted Tudum 2023, their annual global event, from Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo, Brazil. Netflix stars including Henry Cavill (The Witcher), Gal Gadot (Heart of Stone), Chris Hemsworth (Extraction 2), Arnold Schwarzenegger (FUBAR) and more hit the stage for exciting announcements with emcees Chase Stokes (Outer Banks), Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Never Have I Ever), and Maisa (Back to 15) joined by more than ten thousand fans in person and many more globally on YouTube.com/Netflix. If you’re wondering what Tudum means, it is a reference to the sonic sound heard when the ‘N’ first appears before a show or film is about to start on Netflix.

Linda Hamilton Joins Season 5 of Stranger Things

Arnold Schwarzenegger went on stage and was greeted on screen by his Terminator co-star Linda Hamilton. “Good to see you, Arnold. Let’s get dinner soon. And everyone else, I’ll see you in Hawkins,” Hamilton announced, followed by “I don’t know how to be a fangirl and an actress at the same time.”

Heart of Stone Trailer Debut

The official trailer for the summer action flick Heart of Stone starring Gal Gadot as secret agent Rachel Stone made its debut. Directed by Tom Harper (Peaky Blinders, Wild Rose), the film will hit the streaming platform on August 11.

One Piece Teaser

In January, it was announced that the live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga series, One Piece would be debuting some time in 2023, and a first look poster was released. At Tudum 2023, we got to see a teaser of what to expect from the highly anticipated series of “the most popular manga in history.” The teaser shows Iñaki Godoy as Luffy who is joined by Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

3 Body Problem Official Trailer

We got a first look with the official trailer of the upcoming thriller series from the Game of Thrones creators David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo (True Blood). Based on the bestselling and critically acclaimed novels by Liu Cixin, the series “explores humanity’s response to its gravest threat.” It will premiere in January 2024 and stars Jess Hong as Jin Cheng, Eiza González as Auggie Salazar, Jovan Adepo as Saul Durand, Alex Sharp as Will Downing, John Bradley as Jack Rooney, and Benedict Wong as intelligence officer Da Shi. The series also features Saamer Usmani as Raj Varma, Liam Cunningham as Thomas Wade, Rosalind Chao and Zine Tseng as Ye Wenjie, Jonathan Pryce and Ben Schnetzer as Mike Evans, Marlo Kelly as Tatiana, Sea Shimooka as Sophon, and Eve Ridley as Follower.

First Look At Live Action Series Avatar: The Last Airbender
The iconic Avatar: The Last Airbender is being reimagined in a live-action series, and the show’s stars, Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, and Dallas Liu, were at Tudum 2023 to reveal the first look photos of their characters, Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Zuko.

Heartstopper Season 2: First Scene

It was recently announced that season 2 of Heartstopper will be dropping on August 3, and at yesterday’s Tudum event, the cast and crew shared the first scene from season 2 in a exclusive clip. They also revealed the episode titles for all 8 episodes:

First Look at Squid Game: The Challenge

The hit South Korean Squid Game is being transformed into a reality competition series and we got a first look at what’s to come in November 2023. According to Netflix, “456 players will compete to win $4.56 million, the largest cash prize in reality television history.” “Through a series of games, each player will be pushed to their limits and forced to ask themselves just how far they’ll go to win, with opportunistic alliances, cutthroat strategies and timely betrayals to follow,” they added.

Rebel Moon New Teaser

Netflix recently debuted first look photos from Zack Snyder’s epic sci-fi fantasy film Rebel Moon premiering December 22, 2023. Yesterday, fans got behind the scenes footage at what’s to come from the new sci-fi fantasy epic. The ensemble cast includes Sofia Boutella (Climax, The Mummy), Djimon Hounsou (Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Blood Diamond, Ed Skrein (Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, Deadpool), Michiel Huisman (The Flight Attendant, Game of Thrones), Doona Bae (Stranger, Sense8), Ray Fisher (Zack Snyder’s Justice League, True Detective), Charlie Hunnam (The Gentlemen, Sons of Anarchy), and Anthony Hopkins (The Father, The Two Popes) as the voice of Jimmy.

First Look at Bridgerton Season 3

Netflix debuted first look photos of Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton) from the highly anticipated third season of Bridgerton. No word yet on an official release date for the season.
