We were joined on the Popernative by Annabel O’Hagan who plays Steph Harper in the Prime Video post-apocalyptic, sci-fi Western series, Fallout. Based on the popular video game franchise of the same name, Fallout premiered on April 10th and was very quickly renewed for a second season.

The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), and Aaron Moten (Emancipation) with Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Frances Turner (The Boys), Dave Register (Heightened), Zach Cherry (Severance), Johnny Pemberton (Ant-Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead Ringers), and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).

Set two-hundred years after an apocalypse, people in the fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

On being part of a series that is an adaptation of an extremely popular video game, Annabel says, “Everyone has just been unbelievably supportive of the show, and it’s just really cool to see everyone get excited and passionate about an adaptation again, because it is a really tricky business to adapt a video game. People spend hours and days of their lives investing into these games, and you want to create a similarly immersive experience with the show, and I am excited to say I think we did that.”
