
Fall TV Guide: New Shows to Watch in October 2025
October is a big month for TV. There are many of our favorite series making their return to both streaming and cable. These include Abbott Elementary, NCIS franchise, FBI, Chicago franchise, Nobody Wants This, The Diplomat, Tracker, The Witcher, Mayor of Kingstown, Hazbin Hotel, 9-1-1, and Loot – to name a few.
There are also lots of new series making their debut including a few spinoffs. From comedy, horror, mystery, true crime, to drama, there will be something for everyone. Here’s a breakdown of new shows to watch in October 2025.
Monster: The Ed Gein Story (miniseries) – October 3 (Netflix)
Genre: True Crime Drama

Maigret – October 5 (PBS, PBS Masterpiece)

Boots – October 9 (Netflix)

The Last Frontier – October 10 (Apple TV+)

Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy (miniseries) – October 16 (Peacock)

The Monster of Florence (miniseries) – October 22 (Netflix)

IT: Welcome to Derry – October 26 (HBO, HBO Max)

Talamasca: The Secret Order – October 26 (AMC)
