HBO announced on Friday that their Emmy-winning series Big Little Lies will have a second season. HBO also confirmed that Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon will reprise their roles. There will be seven episodes, all of which will be directed by Andrea Arnold. David E. Kelly, who directed the first season, will write each episode for season two.
According to Vulture, auditions are currently underway for four new characters, and production will be between March and August. There’s no word yet on when season two will air.
