Netflix today dropped the official trailer for the upcoming series, BET, a live-action adaptation of the hit Japanese manga Kakegurui by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura.

Developed for television by Simon Barry (Warrior Nun), the series will debut on May 15 with 10 episodes.

BET stars Miku Martineau (Kate), Ayo Solanke (Clown in a Cornfield), Eve Edwards (The Bad Orphan), Clara Alexandrova (A Million Little Things), Hunter Cardinal, Anwen O’Driscoll (Burden of Truth), Aviva Mongillo (Workin’ Moms), Laura Afelskie (Painkiller), Dorian Giordano (Avatar: The Last Airbender), Emma Elle Paterson (Makinium), Ryan Sutherland, and Peter Outerbridge (Sullivan’s Crossing).

The synopsis reads, “Bet follows the students at a boarding school for the global elite, where underground gambling determines the school’s hierarchy. When Yumeko, a mysterious transfer student arrives, her gambling prowess puts her in the crosshairs of the powerful Student Council, while her secret quest for revenge threatens to upend the school’s status quo entirely.”
