The highly anticipated sequel to the 2024 YA romance Sidelined: The QB and Me landed on Tubi on Thanksgiving Day. Based on the Wattpad sensation The QB Bad Boy and Me by Tay Marley with over 31M reads, Sidelined 2: Intercepted follows freshman star quarterback Drayton (social media star Noah Beck) as he grapples with the weight of expectations after a devastating setback, while dancer Dallas (Siena Agudong, Resident Evil) begins to question the future she thought she wanted. As their high school relationship begins to unravel under the pressures of distance and self-discovery, they’ll learn that the bravest versions of themselves emerge when they let life redirect them.
The sequel includes new cast members Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms), Sage Linder (Descendants 3) and Roan Curtis (Firefly Lane) as well as James Van Der Beek (Pose) and Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale) returning to their roles from the original film. Justin Wu also returns to direct the sequel. Sidelined 2 also includes 16 new songs, two of which were recorded and performed by Charlie Gillespie.
