The official trailer for the upcoming slasher, Thanksgiving, dropped today giving audiences a look into the holiday themed horror film. Directed by Eli Roth (Fin, Hostel), and written by Roth and Jeff Rendell (Grindhouse, Cabin Fever), Thanksgiving stars Patrick Dempsey (Disenchanted, Grey’s Anatomy), Addison Rae (He’s All That), Milo Manheim (School Spirits, Zombies), Jalen Thomas Brooks (Walker, Animal Kingdom), Nell Verlaque (Big Shot, The Marijuana Conspiracy), Rick Hoffman (Billions, Suits), and Gina Gershon (Emily the Criminal, Killer Joe). The film will premiere exclusively in movie theaters on November 17th.
Synopsis
After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Will the town uncover the killer and survive the holidays…or become guests at his twisted holiday dinner table?
