USA and SYFY today revealed the official trailer for the upcoming supernatural mystery series, Revival, based on the best selling comic series from Tim Seeley and Mike Norton. Starring Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp, Ready or Not), Revival will premiere on June 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SYFY
with episodes available to stream on Peacock one week after air.
The series is created by Aaron B. Koontz (Scare Package, The Artifice Girl) and Luke Boyce (Revealer, Seeds), who also serve as showrunners and executive producers.
The synopsis reads, “On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the “revived” appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect. ”
Revival also stars Romy Weltman (Backstage, The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh), David James Elliott (Heels, JAG), and Andy McQueen (Mrs. Davis, Outer Banks), with recurring guest stars Steven Ogg (The Walking Dead, Snowpiercer), Phil Brooks, aka “CM Punk“, Gia Sandhu (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), Katherine King So (Transplant), Maia Jae (Gen V, Rabbit Hole), Nathan Dales (Letterkenny) Mark Little (Mr. D), Glen Gould (Tulsa King), Lara Jean Chorostecki (Chucky), and Conrad Coates (Fargo).
