In our interview, Raegan discusses how much has changed since the first season of the series which premiered in 2017: “I love to refer to myself then [season one] like a little mouse because I honestly sounded like a little mouse, and it’s insane to see the difference. At the time I was 9 years old; I was a baby!”

She also touches on the growth of Missy’s character throughout the seasons: “you really do watch her grow. In the beginning, she was just the sassy sister to Sheldon […] she made sarcastic comments and was the comedic relief […] but now, she’s older, she’s in middle school, and you see all these layers to her as she’s dealing with school.” Raegan then tells us about how much she’s learned as an actor from her cast members and being on set for the past six seasons.

Young Sheldon airs Thursdays on CBS at 8/7C and can be streamed on Paramout+
