We were joined on the Popternative show by Nour Jude Assaf who stars as Samir in season 3 of Apple TV+‘s Emmy Award-winning anthology series Ghostwriter. Featuring an entirely new cast and epic literary adventure, season 3 of the reimagined popular 90’s series premiered on October 21st with all 13 episodes.
Season 3 synopsis
When a ghost haunts a neighbourhood bookstore and starts releasing fictional characters into the real world, a group of friends work to solve an exciting mystery surrounding the ghost’s unfinished business.
No stranger to television and film roles, Nour’s growing resume includes roles in Fresh Off the Boat, Sugar & Toys, Quiet Cool, Whole Hearted, A Kid Thing, Extra Ordinary, and the award-wining short film Brothers.
In our interview, Nour talks about how he got into acting, what we can expect from this newest season of Ghostwriter and much more. He also goes into detail about what he knew about the source material prior to being cast this season.
