AppleTV+‘s latest series is the bilingual thriller Now & Then which premiered Friday, May 20 with the first 3 episodes. Set in Miami and shot in both Spanish and English, the series stars an exceptional ensemble cast including Academy Award nominees Marina de Tavira (Roma) and Rosie Perez (Fearless), Ariel Award winner José María Yazpik (Narcos: Mexico), multi-Goya Award winner Maribel Verdú (Y tu mamá también), Manolo Cardona (Who Killed Sara?), Goya Award winner Soledad Villamil (The Secret in their Eyes), Emmy Award winner Željko Ivanek (Madam Secretary), Jorge López (Elite), Alicia Jaziz (Empire of Lies), Dario Yazbek Bernal (The House of Flowers), Alicia Sanz (El Cid), Jack Duarte (Rebelde) and Miranda de la Serna (Wandering Heart).

Now & Then follows the lives of a group of college friends who are forever changed after a celebratory weekend ends up with one of them dead. Now, 20 years later, the remaining five are reluctantly reunited by a threat that puts their seemingly perfect worlds at risk.

We were joined on the Popternative show by José María Yazpik and Manolo Cardona to dicsuss their roles in the series and the complexity behind them. Yazpik plays Pedro and Cardona plays Marcos as adults 20 years after the tragic accident.
