We were joined on the Popternative show by Asher Bishop who voiced the role of Lincoln Loud from 2020 to 2022 in Nickelodeon’s highest rated animated program The Loud House. Asher was nominated for a Children’s and Family Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Voice Performer in an Animated or Preschool Animated Program category for his work on the series. The Loud House has also received a Daytime Emmy Awards, Annie Awards, GLAAD Media Awards and Favorite Cartoon at the Kids’ Choice Awards every year since 2017.

The beloved animated series followed the everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters: Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa and Lily Loud.

In our interview, Asher talks about his Emmy nomination, voicing an iconic character like Lincoln Loud, what it was like working with the other Loud House voice actors, as well as the global fandom of the series.
