Earlier this month, the Syfy Channel canceled The Expanse after three seasons, and fans were not happy, sparking #SaveTheExpanse on social media and over 130,000 signatures on a change.org petition for either Netflix or Amazon to save the show.

It seems that Amazon was listening because just a few days ago, Amazon’s streaming-video service officially picked up the series for a fourth season. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was so excited about it that he announced the news from the stage at the National Space Society’s International Space Development Conference in Los Angeles on May 26. The Expanse actor Cas Anvar tweeted a video of the moment the cast found out the news from Jeff Bezos.
