We recently caught up with actor Dylan Sloane about playing Neil in the new musical series we have really been enjoying on Paramount+: Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, which premiered on April 6. The prequel spinoff of the iconic musical Grease features amazing storylines, catchy and memorable tunes, as well as an unbelievably cinematic and visual experience for the eyes.

Dylan Sloane grew up knowing he wanted a career in the performing arts and took acting classes, but watching movies with his mother was always his favorite thing to do as a child. He loved getting lost in the stories on the screen and imagined himself one day being part of those stories. He was part of the High School Theatre Company through school and went on to attend the Lee Strasberg Institute in N.Y.

In our interview, Dylan details his audition process for Rise of the Pink Ladies, what it was like being on the cinematic set, preparing to play a “villain” type character, and much more.

You can listen to the full interview with Dylan below.
