Disney+’s new series National Treasure: Edge of History had its two-episode premiere on December 14th, and is an expansion of the National Treasure movie franchise. The series stars Lisette Olivera (Total Eclipse), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Wednesday), Jake Austin Walker (Stargirl), Jordan Rodrigues (The Fosters), Zuri Reed (Flatbush Misdemeanors), Antonio Cipriano (The Sex Lives of College Girls), and Lyndon Smith (Parenthood).
National Treasure: Edge of History Synopsis
Jess Valenzuela’s life is turned upside down when an enigmatic stranger gives her a clue to a centuries-old treasure that might be connected to her long-dead father. Jess has a knack for solving puzzles, and her skills are put to the test as she and her friends follow a series of clues hidden in American artifacts and landmarks. But can Jess outsmart a black-market antiquities dealer in a race to find history’s greatest lost treasure and unbury the truth about her family’s past?

We were joined on the Popternative show by Antonio Cipriano who stars in the new series as Oren.

In our interview, Antonio talks about the audition process for his role on National Treasure: Edge of History, being part of a series that feels very cinematic, and much more. There is also a hilarious discussion of the exact and proper pronunciation of his last name.
