Hulu today released first look photos from the upcoming murder mystery series Death and Other Details, premiering January 16th, 2024 on the platform with two episodes, followed by one episode weekly, with a two-episode finale on March 5, 2024.
The series stars Violett Beane (God Friended Me, The Flash), Mandy Patinkin (Homeland, Criminal Minds), Lauren Patten (Blue Bloods, The Good Fight), Rahul Kohli (The Fall of the House of Usher, iZombie), Angela Zhou (Promising Young Woman, Hell on Wheels), Hugo Diego Garcia (Touchées), Pardis Saremi (Hell of a Summer), and Linda Emond (The Patient, Only Murders in the Building).
Death and Other Details Synopsis
Set amidst the glamor of the global elite, Death and Other Details centers on the brilliant and restless Imogene Scott (Violett Beane), who finds herself in the wrong place/wrong time (okay, it was kinda her fault) and becomes the prime suspect in a locked room murder mystery. The setting? A lavishly restored Mediterranean ocean liner. Suspects? Every pampered guest and every exhausted crew member. The problem? To prove her innocence, she must partner with a man she despises—Rufus Cotesworth (Mandy Patinkin), the world’s greatest detective.
Death and Other Details is written and executive produced by Mike Weiss (Chicago P.D., The Mentalist) and Heidi Cole McAdams (Stumptown, The 100), who also serve as showrunners. Marc Webb (Why Women Kill, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) directed the pilot and executive produces for Black Lamb. Mark Martin (The Republic of Sarah, Rendition) also serves as executive producer.
