BMX Freestyle
For the first time in sports history, the BMX Freestyle was added as an event to the summer Olympics. When asked about her thought process leading up to the competition Charlotte says, “I tried to keep it really simple because there is a lot that went into the performance. You spend four years training for 1 minute of your life.” Those 4 years of preparation benefited Charlotte tremendously she says, “You never really know what’s actually going to work that well. It’s a lot of trial and error. We tried so many different tricks we thought that could be there but don’t always click.”
