What can you tell us about your character in A Working Man?

Eve Mauro (EM): Artemis is a real piece of work—a woman shaped by her past. She’s not your typical villain; she’s got layers, She’s a mix of survival instinct and pain. It’s like peeling back an onion—you keep discovering new depths. You can love to hate her and hate to love her, and that duality is what makes her so captivating.

What was it like first reading the script and seeing the action come to life on screen?

EM: Let me tell you, reading that script was a wild ride! It had me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn’t wait to see how those action sequences would unfold. It’s the kind of movie that gets your heart pumping and your blood flowing.

What were the conversations like with the writers and directors?

EM: Oh, man. They really wanted to dig into the soul of our characters while giving us the freedom to explore. We were all in sync, shaping this story into something truly different than what audiences are use to.

Did these conversations happen more before or while filming? Is there a particular scene you enjoyed filming the most?

TS: We laid a solid foundation before filming, but the magic really happened on set as we fine-tuned everything. One scene that I loved to film was the showdown a the end of the film—it was intense! A perfect blend of drama and action.

What has the reception been like from your family and friends now that A Working Man is out?

EM: Oh, the reception has been nothing short of amazing! My family and friends have been my loudest cheerleaders, celebrating every twist and turn of the film. It makes it all worthwhile. There’s something dope about sharing this journey with them and seeing their reactions light up when my face pops on the big screen!
