We recently had the chance to chat with American singer Adam Ezegelian on the Popternative show. The former American Idol contestant along with his band Adam and The Metal Hawks have been gaining notoriety for their unconventional and unique cover videos on social media. In our interview, we talk about using TikTok, his music career and more.
Following his run on American Idol, Adam spent some time singing with what he called a “dad band”. Two years later, Adam encountered some young fiery musicians who called themselves “The Metal Hawks” and the group has hit it off ever since. In the interview with Popternative, Adam reveals how the dive into TikTok began, he says “Once the lockdown started happening and we couldn’t do regular shows anymore, it became almost a necessity to just be able to reach our fans.”
