You might have recently noticed that Instagram profiles look a little different – that’s because they have added two new features: Stories Archive and Stories Highlights. There is now a grid on the front of profiles that has highlighted stories attached for everyone to watch.
Instagram stories are now automatically saved into a private archive (which only you can see) and you can look back through the archive whenever you want and post them as a highlight. If you don’t want your stories to be archived, you can turn this setting off under your setting preferences.
According to Instagram’s blog, “Stories Highlights is a new part of your profile where you can express more of who you are through stories you’ve shared.”
It will be interesting to see what else Instagram has in store!
