We had the chance to chat with Thekla Reuten about the supernatural thriller Marionette. This film also stars Peter Mullan (Children of Men), Emun Elliott (Game of Thrones) and Elijah Wolf (T2 Trainspotting).
Official Synopsis
In the wake of losing her husband in a seemingly random accident, child psychiatrist Marianne Winter starts life anew in Scotland. There, she begins treating a secretive 10-year-old who claims to control the future through his drawings. When his horrific sketches start coming true, Marianne begins an obsession that will derail her life and reality. Marionette tells the story of a therapist, who loses her grip on reality when a ten-year-old boy claims he can control her future.
Thekla Reuten goes into detail about the role, what drew her towards this project, and much more. The script immediately interested Thekla for this project and she states her excitement during the interview. She also talks about past projects she has worked on including Warrior Nun, In Bruges and Red Sparrow.
