Funko today announced that they are launching a new retro line in partnership with iconic home video retailer Blockbuster titled Rewind. The first full collection will be available for fans in Fall 2023. Keeping up with the nostalgia theme, each collectible figure comes in VHS-type packaging and with a membership card designed to mirror Blockbuster’s memorable design.
Although the full line is slated for Fall, fans can access 2 Freddy Funko-inspired Rewind collectibles during Fun on the Run, Funko’s 10 city cross-country event from July 7-19, which will feature limited edition products, photo opportunities and giveaways.
“With the resurgence of ‘80s and ‘90s trends, Funko is bringing the best pop culture film moments home with Rewind, helping fans connect over shared memories, while simultaneously complementing the product options from our most sought-after product line,” said CEO Brian Mariotti.
