Netflix today revealed first look photos from the upcoming rom-com, A Family Affair starring Nicole Kidman (Expats, Big Little Lies), Zac Efron (The Icon Claw, The Greatest Showman), and Joey King (We Were the Lucky Ones, The Kissing Booth films). The film will premiere on the platform June 28th, 2024.
Written by Carrie Solomon (The Good Fight) and directed by Richard LaGravenese (P.S. I Love You, Freedom Writers), it also stars Liza Koshy (Liza on Demand, Players) and Kathy Bates (Richard Jewell, American Horror Story).
The logline reads: “A surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity.”
Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum (Anyone But You, Damsel) serve as producers with Michelle Morrissey (The Curse of La Llorona, Moonshot), Alyssa Altman (Anyone But You, Panic), and Solomon as executive producers.
