Blumhouse and Universal’s horror flick The Black Phone was released last June, but the momentum behind the film definitely has not dissipated. Directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister, Deliver Us from Evil), The Black Phone is officially the third-biggest horror film released since 2020, which earned nominations at The 2023 Critics Choice Super Awards and the 2022 Hollywood Critics Association Midseason Awards.
Not only has the film been a huge success, but it has cultivated new friendships among the cast. Recently, Brady Hepner, Jacob Moran, and Tristan Pravong, who played The Grabber’s victims Vance, Billy, and Bruce, respectively, in The Black Phone, reunited in Nevada for a photo session at the Red Rock and Ghost Town.
Popternative has the exclusive first look of these photos as well as insight into Brady, Jacob, and Tristan’s thoughts about the shoot.
Being out in the Red Rocks and Ghost Town with some of the coolest people in the industry was pretty mind blowing. As an airplane finatic, shooting with these old navy jets and planes used for years in films was amazing. I appreciated working with so many photographers and watching how they all worked differently. An out of work highlight was seeing the opening night of David Blaine in Las Vegas! He was insane. Thank you Jenn Lewis Photography for including us in your vision.Jacob Moran
I really liked the scenery at the Ghost Town. The work down cars and buildings were really cool to observe especially considering that people used to occupy them. It was a really great experience and I always love hanging with Jacob and Brady and meeting new people.Tristan Pravong
The locations were absolutely unreal. The scenery was beautiful and the crew made it a very enjoyable time.Brady Hepner
