We were joined on the Popternative show by Moosa Mostafa who returns as Eugene Ottinger in Season 2 of Wednesday. The second season was split into 2 parts with Part 1 on August 6, and Part 2 on September 3.
Moosa returns as a series regular for Season 2 alongside Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Joy Sunday, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, and Hunter Doohan.
In Season 2, Wednesday Addams returns to Nevermore Academy, where she must navigate family, friends, old adversaries and new mysteries. Pugsley (played by Isaac Ordonez) is now a student at Nevermore and is roommates with Eugene. Eugene, however, isn’t as welcoming at first to Pugsley, leading in him to seek friendship from the grave as he resurrects a zombie he names Slurp (played by Owen Painter). Slurp plays a major role in Season 2’s storyline.

“Working with Isaac [Ordonez] was really great, we didn’t actually get as much time to hang out in season one, and so it was really nice getting to spend time with him. Owen [Painter], who plays Slurp, he was so so great, I mean honestly, he was basically blind and deaf in his prosthetics, so it was a hilarious filming experience with someone there having no idea where they are. It was really fun, we had a lot of chemistry reads and it was fun to work out how I was playing alongside Pugsley and our reactions to Slurp,” Moosa says.
