We were joined on the Popternative show by Evie Templeton who joins the second season of Wednesday as Agnes DeMille. Season 2 was split into 2 parts with Part 1 premiering on August 6, and Part 2 on September 3. The season has already been renewed for a third season by Netflix.
Alongside Jenna Ortega is the titular, Season 2’s series regulars also include Emma Myers, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Joy Sunday, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, and Hunter Doohan. Guest stars include Jamie McShane, Joanna Lumley, Joonas Suotamo, Fred Armisen, Christopher Lloyd, Thandiwe Newton, Heather Matarazzo, and Frances O’Connor.
In Season 2, Wednesday returns to Nevermore Academy where she must navigate family, friends and old enemies, propelling her into another year of mayhem and a new mystery to solve.

Agnes is a vanisher student at Nevermore and is Wednesday Addam’s number one fan. At first, Agnes is determined to prove just how dedicated to Wednesday she is, displaying some obsessive, stalker vibes. As the season progresses, Agnes becomes somewhat of an assistant to Wednesday in her new investigation, thanks to her power of becoming invisible, and begins to find her true self with some help from Wednesday’s bestie, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers).
“She’s definitely a fun character, she’s do different to who I am naturally, I promise I’m not spooky and scary all the time with this intense stare. She’s a great character because she’s got a bit of a dual personality. At the start of the season, she’s a bit more guarded […] then by the end we kind of see her breakdown the walls and expose a little bit more of vulnerability,” Evie tells us.
Evie also discusses what went into putting together the incredible dancing scene in Part 2 where Agnes and Enid perform to Lady Gaga’s “The Dead Dance.”
