Director Justin Lin’s (Better Luck Tomorrow, The Fast and Furious franchise) upcoming film, Last Days, is based on a chilling true story. Premiering in US theaters on October 24 via Vertical, Last Days follows missionary John Allen Chau, who in 2018, went on a journey to share his faith with the isolated tribe of North Sentinel Island. The trip resulted in Chau being killed by the tribe and buried on the island.
Last Days chronicles 26-year-old John’s journey to fulfill his life’s mission as he embarks across the globe to share his faith with the tribe in North Sentinel Island, while a detective from the Andaman Islands races to stop him before he does harm to himself or the tribe.
We are excited to share an exclusive clip from Last Days which shows John’s first attempt to make contact with the tribe that is met with a violent rebuke.
