Swedish actor Ivar Forsling recently joined the Popternative show to talk all things Young Royals on Netflix. Ivar plays the character Erik in the Swedish series, which dropped on July 1, 2021. While a second season has not yet been confirmed by Netflix, it’s hard to deny that that fans will see one given its global popularity. Currently, it has a massive 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

In our interview, we discuss the process of filming Young Royals, the relationship between Erik and Wilhelm, and the show’s global success. While Ivar’s character doesn’t have a large amoung of screen time in season one, he explains how he enjoyed the large impact Erik’s chaaracter had on the series as a whole.
