During the auditioning process, Adam read for all three die-hard AFC Richmond fan roles and ultimately landed the role of Baz. The on-screen chemistry with Bronson Webb and Kevin Garry, who play Jeremy and Paul, came naturally he says, “It felt like we had to be best friends straight away” and added “It wasn’t hard really at all.” The trio of AFC Richmond fans are slowly becoming fan favorites and staples in the series, “For them to give us more screen time this season, like that episode 9, was such a gift” Adam said. He also mentioned that he was ecstatic when he read the script and found out that the trio would have scenes outside of the pub in season 2. When asked about his football background prior to landing the role Adam replied, “I was never huge at sport. That wasn’t my schtick.” This just goes to show Adam’s range as an actor because he portrays a football fanatic so well.
