It was recently announced that the sitcom Pink Is In has been picked up for January 2021 release on Bell Fibe TV1. The show was created by Hamilton, Ontario based transgender Lisa Crawford. Crawford and her team are ecstatic to bring this hilarious look at life inside a women’s prison to viewers across Canada. Check out the teaser and official trailer below:
It will feature an amazing cast including Trish Rainone known for her work on the webseries My Roommate’s An Escort and Netflix’s V Wars. In Pink Is In, Rainone plays the role of an inmate known as Top Dog.
Rainone had this to say about the role:
I’m thrilled to be a part of this comedy. I’m really excited for the creators and producers and it’s the first role I’ve had as the tough girl. Finding Top Dog’s voice and mannerisms within me was a fun challenge and a Skype discussion with Director Aharon prior to going to set really helped me lock down those choices.
