Sony Pictures today released the official trailer and poster for the upcoming racecar film Gran Turismo, coming to theaters on August 11, 2023. Directed by Neill Blomkamp (Demonic, District 9), the film stars David Harbour (Stranger Things), Orlando Bloom (Carnival Row), Archie Madekwe (Voyagers), Darren Barnet (Never Have I Ever), The Spice Girls’ Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond). Kazunori Yamauchi, Hermen Hulst, Jason Hall, and Matthew Hirsch serve as Executive Producers.
Logline: Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
