Apple TV today dropped the official trailer for the new psychological thriller series, Imperfect Women starring and executive produced by Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale, Shining Girls) and Kerry Washington (Scandal, Little Fires Everywhere).
Created by Annie Weisman (Physical, Based on a True Story), the eight-episode series premieres on Apple TV with the first two episodes on Wednesday, March 18 followed by new episodes every Wednesday through April 29.
Based on Araminta Hall’s 2020 novel of the same title, Imperfect Women “examines a crime that shatters the lives of three women in a decades-long friendship. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that irrevocably alter our lives. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.”
The ensemble cast also includes Kate Mara (House of Cards, The Martian), Joel Kinnaman (The Killing, For All Mankind), Corey Stoll (The Better Sister, House of Cards), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton, Central Park), Audrey Zahn (Wildcat, She Dances), Jill Wagner (Special Ops: Lioness, Teen Wolf), Rome Flynn (Godfather of Harlem, With Love), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary, Sister Act 2), Violette Linnz (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Indiana Elle (The Housemaid), Jackson Kelly (The Pitt, Chucky), Keith Carradine (Madam Secretary, Dexter), Ana Ortiz (Devious Maids, Ugly Betty), and Wilson Bethel (Untamed, All Rise).
