Neon today revealed the official trailer for the upcoming horror film, Immaculate, starring Sydney Sweeney (Anyone But You, Euphoria) as a nun at a convent surrounded by evil. It will open in theaters on March 22nd, 2024.
Directed by Michael Mohan (The Voyeurs, Everything Sucks!) and written by Andrew Lobel (Mysteries Unknown), Immaculate also stars Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus, I bastardi di Pizzofalcone), Benedetta Porcaroli (Amanda, Baby), Álvaro Morte (Money Heist, Mirage), Dora Romano (The Hand of God, Bang Bang Baby), and Giorgio Colangeli (L’aria salata, There’s Still Tomorrow).
The synopsis reads: “Sydney Sweeney stars as Cecilia, an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Cecilia’s warm welcome quickly devolves into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.”
