Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Kit Harington are reuniting on screen for the first time since the hit HBO series concluded in 2019. After playing siblings for years, the upcoming gothic horror The Dreadful will see the pair romantically involved.
Arriving in theaters, On Demand, and On Digital on February 20, The Dreadful is set in medieval England and follows Anne and her domineering mother-in-law Morwen as they struggle to survive on the outskirts of society. But when a man from Anne’s past returns from war, a curse begins to take shape through a mysterious knight and threatens to destroy them all.
Written and directed by Natasha Kermani (Abraham’s Boys, V/H/S/85), the film also stars Marcia Gay Harden (So Help Me Todd, Mystic River) and Laurence O’Fuarain (The Gentlemen, The Witcher: Blood Origin).
