Paramount+ today unveiled the official trailer for Season 3 of the supernatural drama and mystery series, School Spirits. Season 3 will premiere January 28 with the first three episodes, followed by a weekly release of an episode, with a total of eight.

The synopsis reads, “Season three of School Spirits plunges Maddie Nears and her friends into a deeper, darker mystery as the veil between worlds grows dangerously thin, delivering twists that challenge everything they thought they knew. After clawing her way back to life, Maddie struggles with terrifying visions and the weight of protecting both the living and the dead while Simon –  trapped in the afterlife – becomes obsessed with the secrets buried in Split River High’s scars. Why have so many people died at Split River High? What was Mr. Martin warning them about? As they search for answers, new dangers and dark secrets begin to surface.”

Returning for Season 3 are Peyton List (Cobra Kai) as Maddie Nears, Kristian Ventura (Gray Matter) as Simon Elroy, Spencer MacPherson (The Way Home) as Xavier Baxter, Kiara Pichardo (The Society) as Nicole Herrera, Sarah Yarkin (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese (Dramarama) as Charley, Rainbow Wedell (The Bureau of Magical Things)as Claire Zomer, Josh Zuckerman (Oppenheimer) as Mr. Martin, Ci Hang Ma (Departure) as Quinn, Miles Elliot (Preacher) as Yuri, and Milo Manheim (Zombies) as Wally Clark.

New cast this season include recurring guest stars Jennifer Tilly (Bride of Chucky) as Dr. Hunter-Price, Ari Dalbert (Friendship) as Kyle, and Erika Swayze (Workin’ Moms) as Livia, who join returning recurring guest stars Maria Dizzia (Plainclothes) as Sandra, Patrick Gilmore (Travelers) as Mr. Anderson, Alex Zahara (Horns) as Principal Hartman, Ian Tracey (Virgin River) as Sheriff Baxter, Jess Gabor (Shameless) as Janet, and Zack Calderon (The Afterparty) as Diego.
