Netflix today dropped the official trailer for I Will Find You, the upcoming 8-episode adaptation of Harlan Coben’s 2023 novel starring Sam Worthington (Avatar, Under the Banner of Heaven), Britt Lower (Severance, Man Seeking Woman), and Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us, Gilmore Girls). From showrunner and co-creator Robert Hull (Quantum Leap, Alcatraz), I Will Find You premieres June 18.
The series “follows Worthington as David Burroughs, who’s wrongfully serving a life sentence for murdering his son. But when he receives word that his son may actually be alive, David embarks on a truth-finding mission that leads him out of prison and into a world of deceit and despair.” I Will Find You marks the first series in Coben’s Netflix partnership to be set in the United States, departing from his previous adaptations, which were based in various European countries.

“I came to [showrunner] Robby Hull with this idea, and we brought it to Netflix as a possible TV show while I was writing the novel, which I’ve never done before. We shared a vision in how we wanted to tell I Will Find You so it will grip you, and not just grip you and move you, but really get emotional at the end,” Coben told Netflix.
The series also stars Logan Browning (Dear White People, Harlem), Erin Richards (The Crown, Gotham), Chi McBride (Hawaii Five-0, Boston Public), and Jonathan Tucker (Echoes, Kingdom).

Guest stars include Hugh Thompson (Sullivan’s Crossing, Reacher), Peter Outerbridge (It: Welcome to Derry, Saw VI), Christopher Redman (Workin’ Moms, American Crime Story), Eric Johnson (Vikings, The Knick), Greg Bryk (Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy, A History of Violence), Kate Vernon (The Morning Show, Battlestar Galactica), Tara Rosling (Star Trek: Discovery, Impulse), Darrin Baker (Doc, Painkiller), Aaron Ashmore (SkyMed, Ginny & Georgia), Nicola Correia-Damude (The Boys, Resident Alien), Rachel Wilson (Republic of Doyle, Impulse), Billy MacLellan (Memory of a Killer, Nobody), Clancy Brown (Invincible, Billions), and Madeleine Stowe (It: Welcome to Derry, Revenge).
As David and Rachel search for Matthew, they are drawn into a dark web of crime and conspiracy. They soon turn Rachel’s ex Hayden (Milo Ventimiglia) for help. Hayden’s admiration of David as a father in doing whatever he can to find his boy definitely resonates. Helping David is helping a father get back to his son,” Ventimiglia told Netflix.
