Lionsgate today revealed the official trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller, Miller’s Girl starring Martin Freeman (Breeders, Sherlock) and Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream). Written and directed by Jade Halley Bartlett, the film will be released in theaters January 26th, 2024.
Miller’s Girl also stars Dagmara Domińczyk (Priscilla, Succession), Bashir Salahuddin (South Side, GLOW), and Gideon Adlon (Sick, The Craft: Legacy).
The official synopsis for the film reads: “A talented young writer (Jenna Ortega) embarks on a creative odyssey when her teacher (Martin Freeman) assigns a project that entangles them both in an increasingly complex web. As lines blur and their lives intertwine, professor and protégé must confront their darkest selves while straining to preserve their individual sense of purpose and the things they hold most dear.”
Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Josh Fagen, and Mary-Margaret Kunze serve as producers.
