Lionsgate has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming emotional thriller, Like Father Like Son, starring Dermot Mulroney (Chicago Fire, Shameless) as a man on death row. It will be released in theaters, On Digital, and On Demand on January 31, 2025.
Also starring in the film are Dylan Flashner (Bandit), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill: Vol. 1), Jim Klock (The Burial), Prima Apollinaare (Carnival Row), Eric Michael Cole (White Squall), and Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory).
Written and directed by Barry Jay (The Way Out), Like Father Like Son is described as, “an emotional thriller about the lengths one man will go to end a brutal cycle of violence. Eli (Dylan Flashner) is a young man whose father (Dermot Mulroney) waits on death row for the crime of murder in the first degree. As Eli’s life begins to fall apart, he discovers similar terrifying triggers in himself and takes extreme measures to ensure that the family’s string of savagery comes to an end.”
