
Hulu today debuted the official trailer for the upcoming comedy series, Mid-Century Modern, starring Nathan Lane (The Gilded Age, The Producers), Matt Bomer (Fellow Travelers, White Collar), Nathan Lee Graham (Theater Camp, Zoolander), and the late Linda Lavin (No Good Deed, Alice). The series premieres on Hulu on March 28.
Mid-Century Modern follows three best friends – gay gentlemen of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother. As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done.
Confirmed guest stars include Pamela Adlon (Better Things), Vanessa Bayer (Trainwreck), Kimberly Coles (Living Single), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Judd Hirsch (The Fabelmans), Richard Kind (Spin City), Stephanie Koenig (English Teacher), Billie Lourd (The Last Showgirl), Esther Moon Wu (Minari), Jaime Moyer (A.P. Bio), Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live), Rhea Perlman (Cheers), and Zane Phillips (Fire Island).
The series is from executive producers Max Mutchnick & David Kohan (Will & Grace) and executive producer Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story). Stars Nathan Lane and Matt Bomer also executive produce the series, along with James Burrows (Will & Grace), who also serves as director.
