Well Go USA today dropped the official trailer for COLONY, offering a terrifying glimpse at the latest Korean zombie thriller from acclaimed filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan). Sang-ho wrote the script with Choi Gyu-seok (Revelations).
Starring Gianna Jun (My Love for Another Star) and Koo Kyo-hwan (Peninsula) the film follows Professor Se-jeong (Jun) as she is thrust into a desperate fight for survival after a rapidly mutating virus is unleashed during a biotech conference. With authorities sealing off the facility, Se-jeong and a small group of survivors must battle hordes of infected victims as the virus triggers increasingly horrific transformations. COLONY arrives in on August 28.
The cast also includes Ji Chang-wook (Healer), Shin Hyun-been (The Ugly), Kim Shin-rock (Hellbound), and GO Soo (Missing: The Other Side).
